[Tokyo Metro] Trains on the Tokyo Metro and Saitama Rapid Railway (March-April 2024) [4k]

Описание: The Tokyo Metro is one of the main rapid transit systems of the Tokyo Metropolis, consisting of 9 lines including the Ginza Line, Japan's oldest. Stretching across the region with most lines having through-services onto private railways or JR, it is one of the most important transportation systems in Japan as a whole.

The first two lines to be built, the Ginza and Marunouchi, are isolated standard gauge third rail powered lines that are known for being chronically overcrowded. The Hibiya and Hanzomon lines function as direct relief lines for the Ginza Line, with part of the Yurakucho Line service as a relief line for the Marunouchi Line. Also notable is the Fukutoshin Line, which connects the western subcenters of Tokyo together and forms an S-Train trunk for the Seibu, Tobu (Tojo), Tokyu, Minatomirai, and Sotetsu networks.

The Ginza Line station at Toranomon was undergoing significant renovation during filming
Chiyoda Line footage was taken from the main Arakawa bridge spans, which include the Chiyoda Line/Joban Local Line, Joban Rapid Line, Tsukuba Express, and Tobu Isesaki Line.
No Namboku Line footage is available as all stations have full height platform screen doors and are not particularly conducive to filming (the entire line is also underground, so there is nowhere to see it). Saitama Rapid Railway (a de facto rapid transit extension of the Namboku Line) footage is provided instead
No Toyo Rapid Line footage is available as it has 15 minute headways and it was raining the day of filming
