Today XG shared two important announcements — the evolution of their name to Xtraordinary Genes, and their 2026 team slogan centered on authenticity, roots, and creative freedom.
Both of these announcements hit home for me and I really sat with them to reflect on how impactful they are for both the group and for me. Today video is about slowing down down, observing this moment, and evolving with them.
“Genes” speaks to what lives at the core — identity, creativity, and the courage to express it honestly, beyond labels, age, or background. It feels less like a replacement, and more like an expansion.
I share my thoughts on why this evolution feels natural, how the slogan AUTHENTICITY ABOVE ALL reflects their journey so far, and what this new chapter could mean moving forward.
