How to Measure For a Wig

Measuring your head for a wig is one of the first things you’ll need to do before purchasing.

If I’m being honest though, even measuring doesn’t guarantee a perfect fit, as many brands have average caps that fit differently from each other.

Although we carry some petite sizes and some large sizes, the majority of styles we carry are considered an average cap.

That being said, some average caps tend to fit either smaller, bigger, or true to average.

Based on my personal experience, here is what I have found from brand to brand. Please know that this doesn’t mean ALL caps from these brands fit the way I say. This is a general idea of what is *typical* for the particular brand.
