Chaque région du corps possède son "os clé" qui est en relation aponévrotique (fasciale) avec tous les éléments osseux et articulaires de la région. Au niveau du bassin, la clé est "les branches pubiennes" qu'il faut vérifier et corriger en priorité.
L'os suspendu correspondant est le sacrum. A l'extrémité inférieure du sacrum se trouve le coccyx qui est en relation directe avec les branches pubiennes: le plancher pelvien (muscles et ligaments obturant le petit bassin et formant les sphincters) met en relation le coccyx en arrière et les branches pubiennes en avant. Le coccyx (voir vidéo correspondante) n'est donc pas simplement un résidu de queue négligeable mais un élément anatomique important qui joue un rôle dans le bon équilibre et le bon fonctionnement du plancher pelvien et des sphincters!!

The iliac bone or hip bone: The two iliac bones, united in front by the pubic symphysis, circumscribe with the sacrum and the coccyx a bony enclosure, the pelvis, an important anatomical region particularly from the point of view of childbirth.
In front are the pubic branches considered as "key" of the basin. The iliacs are articulated laterally with the femurs (hips) and back with the sacrum (sacroiliac joints).
