It’s amazing to think of just how much time Kevin Rafferty dedicated to combing through the hundreds of lines and outtakes to create the script he needed to make this show possible with only the classic recordings of Donald. Sure, he could have just used current talent to get the job done quickly and efficiently. But honoring the history of the character and keeping the original voice alive for new generations is valuable in ways that are hard to quantify.
What was inspired what is, and I think that’s something we can all relate to when we think of people in our own pasts who have inspired us to become who we are today.
