Aarti’s filmography includes notable films like Zamaane Ko Dikhana Hai (1981), Purana Mandir (1984), Kaun Kitney Pani Mein (1987), and Jism Ka Rishta (1989). She has also facilitated international film projects such as Code 46 (2003) and A Mighty Heart (2007). Alongside her director husband Kailash Surendranath, she has produced numerous commercials and helped build various brands with her creative styling talent.

🌟 Early Beginnings:
Coming from an armed forces background, Aarti's father was Major Gyan Gupta. At just 15, she was selected for a Sunsilk shampoo ad from a nationwide audition. She then became a trailblazer in the modeling industry, featuring in campaigns for Stayfree, Garden sari, Bombay Dyeing Sarees, and more. She became one of India’s leading models, featuring in ads for Nescafe, Band Aid, Clearasil, Tata Tea, Yera Glassware, Halo shampoo, and Campa Cola.

🎥 Transition to Films:
Aarti transitioned to films, appearing in Tajurba (1981), Zamaane Ko Dikhana Hai (1981), Naya Safar (1982), and more. Despite initial hesitation, she starred in the horror classic Purana Mandir (1984) and later in Saamri (1985). She also acted in Jaanbaaz (1986), Aashiana (1986), and the Malayalam film Jeevante Jeevan (1985).

💼 Production and Creative Ventures:
After marrying Kailash Surendranath in 1985, Aarti took on various roles in their production company. She became a producer, creative consultant, casting director, stylist, and assistant director. Her versatile skills were instrumental in producing commercials and feature films like Love You Hamesha (2001). She also co-produced the iconic music video Mile Sur Mera Tumhara (1988), promoting unity among Indians.

🌍 International Projects:
Aarti line-produced Hollywood films like Code 46 (2003) and A Mighty Heart (2007). More recently, she produced the series Chakravyuh: An Inspector Virkar Crime Thriller (2021).
