Surah Al-Waqi‘ah (The Inevitable) – English Description
Surah Al-Waqi‘ah is the 56th chapter of the Holy Qur’an, revealed in Makkah, and it contains 96 verses. The name Al-Waqi‘ah means “The Inevitable Event”, referring to the Day of Judgment, which will surely occur.
This Surah strongly reminds humanity about the reality of the Hereafter and describes how people will be divided into three groups on the Day of Resurrection:
