Описание: The Election Commission has launched the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in the National Capital, with Booth Level Officers beginning a massive door-to-door verification drive across Delhi. The exercise aims to ensure that the voter list remains accurate, updated and free of errors ahead of future elections. Delhi currently has 1.45 crore registered voters, including over 3.29 lakh first-time voters aged 18 to 19 years and 192 centenarian voters. Booth Level Officers will distribute enumeration forms to every voter during the verification process. The house-to-house survey will continue until July 29, followed by the publication of the draft electoral roll on August 5. Claims and objections can be submitted until September 4, while the final electoral roll will be published on October 7.
