Some thoughts on different types of passing and privilege, and how that affects different nonbinary people.
One point I forgot to make in the video: Being rejected by your own community for being somehow on the borders of it doesn't just hurt emotionally, it severely hurts people's social networks. That means more vulnerability to poverty, getting preyed on by abusers, depression, etc. People on the borders, while seeming to have more privilege, can end up without the support of either privileged society or marginalized groups, and thus worse off than either. Of course this varies as well.
