Описание: The owner of a Salt Lake City bar who announced he’s banning "Zionists" in his establishment, said he’s on the right side of the law, but a local attorney thinks the policy is a law breaker.

“Are you anti-Semitic?” 2News asked Michael Valentine, owner of Weathered Waves, which only recently was given a license to serve alcohol at the Gateway.

“No I am not,” replied the one-time candidate for Salt Lake City mayor, and who also plans to run for county mayor. “It’s not anti-Semitic to be anti-Zionist. It’s not anti-Semitic to call out genocide.“

Valentine is now getting national attention, and his bar may now be at the center of a debate touched off by Hamas’ attack on Israel in early October—killing and kidnapping more than 1,200 people—and Israel’s fierce response, in which tens of thousands have been killed in Gaza.
