...This is great willowherb (Epilobium hirsutum) also known as hairy willow herb. It's the larger cousin to fireweed & like fireweed it makes great cordage.

...Relatively easy to process by crushing the stems & peeling the outer fibres off. Twisted or braided it makes exceptionally strong cordage.
