What I Wear To Groom Pets | Advice From A Pet Groomer

Описание: In this video I reveal what I wear to pet grooming appointments. I choose to wear a uniform as I feel it looks professional and protects my clothes from being covered in pet hair!

Tunic:
I purchased my grooming tunic from a seller on Amazon. It is by Proluxe, and you can find the link here: https://goo.gl/HTQXVo . I chose this style of tunic because it is high-necked, which means I can wear any style of top underneath without it showing through, and also because it looks professional and colourful. This tunic is hard wearing, is easy to wash and dry and pet hair doesn't penetrate through the fabric. There are 9 colour choices available, but I chose the colour teal as it matches the colours used in my business cards, website and logo.

Jeans:
I've yet to find a style of trouser I prefer to my jeans, but there are alternatives available such as yoga pants or exercise trousers. I purchase 'Jegging' style jeans, which provide the comfort of leggings with the bonus of being made of denim, but I have found that any style of jean, providing it is made of denim fabric, is pretty much impenetrable to pet hair. In the summer I wear ¾ length jeans (short style) to keep me cool.

Skechers 'Go Walk':
I love my Skechers because they are so comfortable and don't make my feet ache! I purchased mine in-store, but they are also available online: https://goo.gl/p7MLDB They are easy to slip on and off, they wash and dry well and I find they don't collect pet hair. I prefer these to other styles of trainer and I like that they come in a variety of colours and styles too.

Socks:
I purchase trainer socks as they are easy to wear, reasonably priced and can be found in most clothing shops. I purchased mine in Primark, and there they are called 'Sports Liner Socks'. You can find the link here: https://goo.gl/gd6fNp Don't make my mistake and wear thick, fluffy socks!
