Committee for Resolution of Issues of Protesting Govt Employees

Описание: On the order of the Chief Minister, the Government of Punjab has constituted a committee for the resolution of issues of protesting Govt employees. The Education Minister is the chairman of the committee.
Terms of reference of the committee are:

1. The committee shall;
i. Engage in dialogue with the leaders of the protesters.
ii. Evaluate the demands and grievances of the protesting government servants and provide a detailed analysis of the issues raised.
iii. Examine the financial implications of proposed solutions.
iv. Ensure that the recommended solutions align with legal and regulatory frameworks and comply with all applicable laws.
v. Develop a comprehensive report proposing a viable solution.

2. The committee shall submit its report comprised of candid recommendations to the Chief Minister within 21 days.


The protest has been ended in Punjab. The educational boycott has been ended. What are the demands of government employees? All Government Employees Grand Alliance(AGEGA) protested in all the cities of Punjab. Teachers, students, parents, and all the government employees recorded their protests in different cities of Punjab, especially in Lahore. Govt. arrested the leadership of AGEGA and many other government servants including teachers. Govt. servants have some demands. The major demand is not to privatize the government schools. Following are some of the demands of employees;
1. Don’t change the leave encashment rule
2. Don’t privatize the educational institutions
3. Don’t change service and pension rules
4. Don’t make pension reforms
