This is not just another motivational video — this is real life, real struggle, and real discipline.
In this short video, I share my experience on Day 8 of quitting social media, where things start to get serious. The excitement of the first days fades, boredom increases, urges become stronger, and the mind begins to fight back. This is the phase where most people quit. But this is also the phase where real growth begins.
For years, social media controlled my attention, my time, and my energy. Endless scrolling, short videos, instant pleasure, and constant distraction slowly damaged my focus, discipline, and mental clarity. I didn’t notice it at first — but over time, it became obvious. That’s why I decided to start this 90 day dopamine detox challenge.
On Day 8, I can clearly feel the difference.
My mind is calmer.
My thoughts are clearer.
My awareness is higher.
But the challenge is real.
Quitting social media is not easy. The brain is addicted to dopamine. When you remove Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and mindless scrolling, your brain looks for replacement pleasure. That’s when boredom hits. That’s when urges rise. That’s when discipline is tested.
This challenge is not about being perfect.
It’s about learning self-control.
It’s about choosing long-term growth over short-term pleasure.
In this journey, I’m also quitting:
• Social media addiction
• Video game addiction
• Pornography (NoFap journey)
• Instant gratification habits
And replacing them with:
• Discipline
• Silence
• Physical activity
• Reflection
• Purpose
This video is for anyone who feels:
• Mentally exhausted
• Addicted to scrolling
• Distracted all the time
• Unmotivated
• Lost
If you feel like your phone controls your life, this challenge is for you.

Day 8 is not easy.
But it’s worth it.
Most people live on autopilot.
Most people escape boredom instead of facing it.
Most people choose comfort over growth.
This challenge is about doing the opposite.
I’m documenting this journey to stay accountable and to inspire others who want to take control of their lives. If you’re starting today, don’t compare yourself. Just start. One day is enough. Then repeat.
