So here comes Season two of Uncle Lion’s Tales; you can catch a fresh episode every Saturday. Join Uncle Lion, listen to his beautiful stories. But remember, he will be happy only if you follow the lessons he teaches and please Swami.

Once upon a time, there lived a school of fish on the shores of the great sea. There were thousands and thousands of them in the school. They lived near the shores because these fish were not deep-water fish. They could live only in the shallow waters. So, they would play and frolic in the gentle tides along the beach. They had a happy and contented life. However, they would wake up every morning with one fear - the fisherman’s net!Just like the fishes, the fisherman too would be in the shallow waters of the beach every morning to cast his net. Dozens of fish would get trapped in the net. The fish had tried everything but there was no guaranteed way to escape the fisherman’s net.

But there was one in the school that did not fear the fisherman’s net - Ms. Bubbles.

Bubbles gives us the secret to survive in the Bhavasagara (ocean of worldly existence) without getting caught in the net of Maya (delusion) cast by God (the fisherman). The first way is to dive deep, beyond the turbulent waves at the surface, and gain wisdom. That is the path of knowledge or Jnana Marga. The second way is to cut ourselves out of the net. That is the path of action or Karma Marga. The easiest and best way is to surrender at the feet of the God who casts this Maya. That is the path of devotion or Bhakti Marga.

When we surrender at the feet of the Lord, our lives become His responsibility.
