Jackfruit seed, kathal ke beej, kathal ke beej ki sabji
Servings: 4 people
Ingredients
400 gm Jackfruit/kathal
3Green Chillies / Hari Mirch, 12 Garlic cloves & 3 slice Onion
1/2 tbsp Cumin Seeds / Sabut Jeera
1 tsp Mustard seeds/ sarso
1 tbsp Red Chilli powder / Laal mirch powder
1 tsp Jeera Powder
1 tbsp Coriander Powder / Dhaniya Powder
To Taste Salt / Black Salt / Namak
6 Curry Leaves / Kadi Patta
5 tbsp Cooking Oil
Instructions
Wash the seeds properly and then pressure cook for 3 whistles with a glass of water and 1/4 tsp turmeric.( Boiling Time 10 to 12 Minutes )
Peel the skin properly and then cut them into half pieces
Heat 5 tbsp oil in a pan add mustard and cumin seeds.When start crackling add Garlic cloves,curry leaves and chopped green chilies.
Now add all the dry spices, Salt and chopped seeds ,stir well. Add 2 tbsp water mix,cover and cook for 7-8 minutes.
Serve as a side dish with daal ,rice and roti
