SIGHNAGHI GEORGIA - Traditional Dancing - Independence Day in Kakheti

Описание: We arrived in Sighnaghi in the morning of the 26th May, to discover that it was Georgian Independence Day... so we were treated to a day of dancing, national costumes and local delicacies (yes, wine and shawarma!)

I love it when your plans go completely out the window and you see something entertaining and totally unexpected!

I know there's a lot of dancing included but I was in awe of the stamina of these kids - it was an unseasonably hot day in May... around 33C and high humidity!

I had to keep retreating to the shade in the park and I don't know how they coped! I can definitely recommend seeing the traditional dances and costumes of Georgia - absolutely amazing!
