The Palacio de la Magdalena, located on the Magdalena Peninsula in Santander, Cantabria, is a stunning early 20th-century palace originally built as the summer residence for King Alfonso XIII and Queen Victoria Eugenia. Construction took place between 1909 and 1911, funded by public subscription from citizens and local institutions
