FIRST IMPRESSIONS OF UZBEKISTAN 🇺🇿 (Our first day in Samarkand)

Описание: Samarkand is said to be one of the greatest cities on the ancient Silk Road! After arriving in a WizzAir flight from UAE, we entered Uzbekistan through the Samarkand International Airport. We used our Uzbekistan double entry tourist visa which we applied for on the official website: https://e-visa.gov.uz/ and immigration was very starightforward - no questions asked. We then took a cheap taxi from the airport to the city centre for less than $1.5 and checked into a simple hostel homestay. We also had lunch at a local restaurant. We later withdrew some cash at the nearby ATM and walked on the streets to the famous Registan Ensemble for a beautiful sunset experience.
