In this project, Ryan Williams, also known as Gears and Grit, takes on a college assignment to redesign the audio for a scene from Monsters Inc. Using just 7 lab sessions, he rebuilt the soundscape from the ground up, including sound effects, foley, ADR, and an original musical score.
Every sound was carefully placed to enhance the emotion and storytelling of the scene. The original score, composed by Ryan, adds a fresh layer of energy and tone to the animated classic.
