Rock climbing pitch nine of crimson chrysalis in red rock Nevada
Notes: The money pitch. Fun and exposed face climbing with miracle holds right when you want them that leads to an epic top out with a stunning view. Although big juggy holds are encountered they do not come until close the end so be prepared for some more sustained 5.8 until that. There is a short scramble to the summit from the anchors that is very easy, but also very high consequence particularly leaving the anchor. If you are at all uncomfortable leaving the anchor for the summit I recommend pulling about 20ft of slack from the rope and fixing it the anchor to protect yourself moving from the belay going up and coming down. Enjoy the epic summit!
