Описание: The table lamp Tizio has become a symbol of functionality and a design object of modern lifestyle. Although it was created as an office table lamp, soon it became a very popular model for home interiors.

Under the proposal of Ernesto Gismondi, co-founder of the Italian lighting producer company ARTEMIDE, the German designer Richard Sapper wanted to design a lamp that incorporated new technologies (the halogen lamp) with a flexible structure designed with meticulous details.

The table lamp Tizio has a counterweight system that holds in balance all the parts, the arm with bulb light, adjustable with a simple touch of a hand. The arm rotates at 360 degrees on the base, and the small reflector can be oriented in any direction.

The lamp has invisible joints that do not include screws but are fixed thanks to a pressure mechanism. This way, if the lamp falls, the attacks will not break up; instead, they will stack away and may be easily assembled back together.

Since 1972 until today, it is produced by the Italian producer company Artemide. At first, it was presented in different color options: black, sober and professional, white, more delicate and discrete, and aluminum, neutral and versatile for most ambient. However, in the most recent catalogue, I saw it only in black version, which is a universal choice, sophisticated, minimalistic, and modern.

It is produced in three different sizes:
Tizio Micro (L49.5 x H43 cm)
Tizio 35 (L65 x H56 cm)
Tizio (L79 x H66 cm)
with lighting source at choice, halogen or led.
