Bardonecchia grew around the historic Fréjus Rail Tunnel in the 19th century —
a gateway that connected Italy to France and brought life into this mountain valley.

Today, Bardonecchia remains a sanctuary of seasons:
❄️ In winter, the mountains rest under a soft blanket of snow,
reminding us that God’s beauty also lives in silence and stillness.

☀️ In summer, the valley awakens in light and color,
a gentle hymn of warmth, life, and God’s unchanging grace.
