This is the first day of a five day backpacking trip in the Gila Wilderness, New Mexico, in May, 2021. Our route took us up the Middle Fork of the Gila River, over the plateau separating the Middle and West Forks, and down the West Fork to the Gila Cliff Dwellings National Monument area.
This is not intended to be a fancy production or trip guide, but it is a great way to join us on a virtual hike and forget about the daily grind.Go full screen and enjoy. Subsequent days of the trip to follow. If people like these videos, perhaps I can post other trips in the future.
