नगर परिषद आणि पंचायतीमध्ये आरक्षणाची मर्यादा 50 टक्क्यावर गेलीय आहे...याविरोधात सुप्रीम कोर्टात याचिका दाखल कऱण्यात आलीय.

The uncertainty over local self-government elections in Maharashtra continues as the Supreme Court schedules the next hearing for November 25. The court has directed the State Election Commission not to announce any new elections until further orders. The petition challenges the reservation cap, which has reportedly crossed the 50% limit in Zilla Parishads, Panchayat Samitis, Nagar Parishads and Gram Panchayats across the state.
