Grand General Tagge Tests Darth Vader's Patience

Описание: Today's issue is Marvel's Star Wars Darth Vader (2015) Issue #2: Vader Pt. 2 - the second issue of the Marvel comic book series Star Wars: Darth Vader and the second of six issues in the series' first story arc. The issue, written by Kieron Gillen with art by Salvador Larroca, was released on February 25, 2015.

This story begins picks up a short time after Vader #1, with Darth Vader rendezvousing with the recently promoted Grand General Cassio Tagge, who has recently been the target of numerous pirate raids.

After rescuing the Lambda-class shuttle CZ-246 from the pirate CR90 corvette, Vader and Tagge work together to repurpose the ship to find and infiltrate it's base of operations. Tagge patronizes Vader, comparing him to a lightsaber that needs to be wielded by a "skilled hand" (referring to himself). Vader is assigned an adjutant that will be reporting directly to Tagge, Lieutenant Oon-Ai.

Vader, Oon-Ai, a black astromech droid & a legion of stormtroopers tracks down the pirate base in the extreme edge of the Outer Rim. They take the base by surprise, however upon realizing Vader is there the pirates activate security droids, including Destroyers. The Stormtroopers are being torn apart, however Darth Vader uses the Force to hurl missiles at the pirates & droidekas, securing victory.The dying Mon Calamari pirate activates the self-destruct system, that Vader disables shortly thereafter.

Vader reports back to Grand General Tagge, complimenting the plan, however pointing out that Lieutenant Oon-Ai was a spy after all. The issue ends with Vader asking the astromech droid if he has purged the information prior to dismissing it out of the air-lock and having it self-destruct.
