Evening Trains at Portsmouth Harbour, PDL - 29th July 2024

Описание: Hello and welcome to those who Subscribed and to those who has visited my channel to view my latest video.
On Monday 29th July 2024, I went to my another local station ( Portsmouth Harbour ) I always love coming to this station, for me personally it’s the bestest Terminus station in Portsmouth.
Simply because apart from the Signalling and track circuits, nothing much has changed with the station, it’s always what I always remember, like footbridge, canopy, and entrance and exit etc. you have HMS Warrior right outside, Gosport Ferry, Historic Dock yard and you see some ships pass by on Solent Waters.
And you got Gunwharf and Spinnaker Tower next to the station.
I remember someone commented on my past videos saying Harbour is like second London Waterloo, which I do agree with as it is rather similar
Views are very good, seeing trains coming in and leaving on a the overhead bridge and on a curve line.
Facilities are good, you got Coffee Shop which is situated on Platform 1, Wright Link Terminal is located at the Concourse downstairs.
The only thing has changed is Southern Trains that comes every 30 minutes which makes it bit more interesting, as when I come here to do evening filming there is only SWR Desiors & GWR.
So I’m glad Southerns run in the evenings now.
Once again GWR were having signal problems in Westbury area, Trains you will mostly see is SWR Desiros and Southern Electrostars. Thankfully there were some GWR but mostly Turbos. I was going to end the video after 21:33 Waterloo service, but I found out there was GWR 158 inbound from Cardiff, and then going out back to Fratton Depot, so I waited around for it which came just after 22:00. So I went home happy that I finally got a 158, to end a perfect night.
