Описание: The second day of the 23rd Dhapdhara Utsav 2026, held on 28th February 2026 (Saturday) at Dhapdhara 1 No. Primary School, Purshura, Hooghly, was filled with elegance, creativity, and celebration of excellence. Day 2 beautifully blended classical cultural expressions, modern creativity, and recognition of academic achievement, making it one of the most memorable days of the festival.

The afternoon session began at 3:00 PM with Rabindra Nritya and Creative Dance Competitions. Talented participants from different age groups presented graceful Rabindra dance performances inspired by the works of Rabindranath Tagore, reflecting deep emotion, rhythm, and discipline. Alongside, the Creative Dance segment showcased innovative choreography, expressive movements, and contemporary storytelling. The performances captivated the audience and highlighted the growing artistic talent within the region.

As the evening approached, the focus shifted to education and achievement with the Felicitation Ceremony for Meritorious Students of Madhyamik and Higher Secondary Examinations. Students who achieved outstanding academic results were honored on stage, inspiring younger generations to pursue excellence in education. This segment emphasized the festival’s commitment not only to culture but also to intellectual growth and social development. The applause, pride, and encouragement from the audience made this moment truly special.

The night concluded with an energetic and entertaining performance by SK Dance Troupe at 9:00 PM. Their high-energy choreography, synchronization, and stage presence brought excitement and vibrancy to the festival atmosphere. The performance attracted a large audience and added a modern, dynamic touch to Day 2, perfectly balancing tradition and contemporary entertainment.

Dhapdhara Utsav continues to stand as a symbol of unity, talent, and community spirit. Organized by A-Manush Sangha (Reg. No. S0009002), the festival provides a platform for cultural expression, youth participation, and social recognition.
