2020 Birthday Special for CraigS1996Entertainment: Sonic the Hedgehog 2 Heroes - ROM Hack

Описание: Happy 2020, everyone, and welcome to this ROM hack of Sonic 2, known as Sonic the Hedgehog 2 Heroes!

In this ROM hack, you play as all three members of Team Sonic from Sonic Heroes, all while playing through the vanilla Sonic 2. You play as Sonic the Hedgehog, Miles "Tails" Prower, and Knuckles the Echidna (from the Sonic 3 & Knuckles sprites).

Gameplay is very much the same as normal, but with Sonic CD's Super Peel-Out added, and also the S3&K Shields added alongside the default Sonic 2 Shield.

With the STH2 Shield, Sonic can Double Jump slightly differently in comparison to the S3&K Lightning Shield.

Meanwhile, Tails and Knuckles retain their respective flying and gliding abilities.

You can also press A on your SEGA Genesis/Mega Drive controller to switch between the leader type (Sonic for Speed, Tails for Flying, and Knuckles for Power).

Special Stages remain the same, with Rings collected by each character being added to your total; once all seven Chaos Emeralds are collected, Team Super Sonic is then possible (however, Tails will not be able to have his Flickies fly around him like in S3&K).

Joining me for co-commentary will be Craig Simmons once again (A.K.A. CraigS1996Entertainment); I had him over for Episode 18 of "The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past" after I couldn't get his commentary in from Episode 12.
