ROTOR, in partnership with Magura and KMC, have started from scratch to create this groupset, which hopes to rival the market leaders Shimano, SRAM and Campagnolo. As a result, they've come up with a shifting system that is built entirely around hydraulics - from the brakes to the actuation of the gears.

Lucky Simon was one of the first to try it out - here are his first impressions.
