Bike: Kawasaki ER6F 2013 (no abs)
So the first issue I had was where the actual brakes felt like they were binding (pads are pressing against the disks), but this went away after a bit of riding, and I assume this is where the brakes rusted a bit where I hadnt been riding it for a while.
Once that was sorted out, I left the bike for a while, and then the rear brake pedal itself started sticking, so it wouldn't spring back up after being pressed.
This was annoying to try and fix, because on two occasions, the "issues" went away, but then came back after a week or so of no use.
My first attempt was to just do a general clean of the pedal unit area. This worked for a week, but then the issue came back.
Then I took the pivot point off, and saw how rusty it was, cleaned it up, greased it and put it all back together. This seems to have done the trick. The issue has not come back since
