Carpenter Math : Estimating Roof, Fascia and Wall area on a Gable end Building - Pt 3

Описание: Bringing you the basics BUT also the fundamentals of carpentry so you understand where and how to use math to achieve the best results.

I figure out roof area based on floor area and the help of slope gain factor. Then I double check that math by using Pythagoras theorem to get the length of my slope multiplied by the length of my building. And wouldn't you know...the same answer. For you apprentices this is a great insight into what you learn in trade school. Then I run through estimating soffit and fascia and finally wall area for siding.
