► Steetley Pier - #hartlepool
Steetley Pier off North Sands in Hartlepool was built for the former #Steetley Magnesite plant in the 1960s. The 2,000 ft pier was built to provide fresh seawater for the plant. The plant produced about 250,000 tonnes of high quality grade Magnesia a year. It closed in 2005, following a series of take overs.

► Preston Park and museum - #stockton
Preston Park is a 100-acre public park in #Preston-on-Tees, England. It hosts multiple events each year and is located next to the #RiverTees. Parking is free, but the Preston Park Museum & Grounds and Butterfly World have small admission charges.
