Описание: HERE IS SOME BUT NOT ALL OF THE REASON YOUR STEYR PUCH CLUTCH CHATTERS ON TAKE OFF.MOST PUCH 500, 650 AND HALFLINGER PRESSURE PLATES LOOK LIKE THIS ONE... THE PROBLEM IS HIDDEN AND NOT VISABLE UNLESS YOU TAKE THE DERBY RING OFF BY LIFTING THE WIRE SPRINGS AND SLIDING IT OUT.FLIP OVER TO THE BACK SIDE AND YOU CAN SEE WHERE IT IS BADLY WORN OVER THE YEARS.IT ACTUALLY GRINDS A SLOT INTO THE METAL FROM ALL THE ASBESTOS AND METAL FLYING AROUND WHEN YOU DRIVE THE CA.R. SOME OF THE PUCH CARS ARE NOW 50 PLUS YEARS OLD.IF YOU JUST REPLACE THE CLUTCH DISC IT WONT SOLVE YOUR SHATTER PROBLEM. YOU NEED TO DO SEVERAL THINGS REBUILD OR RESURFACE THE CLUTCH ARMS AND RING, REMOVE THE FLYWHEEL AND HAVE IT MACHINED FLAT IN 3 PLACES THE FIRST WHERE THE PRESSURE PLATE BOLTS ON...SECOND THE SAME AMOUNT REMOVED ON THE FLYWHEEL FACE, AND LAST THE SIDE THAT MATES UP TO THE CRANKSHAFT (ABOUT .010 THOUSANDTHS) THIS WILL GIVE YOU SOME ADJUSTMENT WHEN YOU SET THE CLEARANCE OF THE CRANKSHAFT PLAY BACK AND FORTH . AS THE STEYR PUCH THRUST BEARINGS WEAR OUT THE CRANKSHAFT PLAY GETS SLOPPY. AND YOU WIND UP REMOVING ALL THE SHIMS AND ITS STILL SLOPPY. THEN YOUR SCREWED .THE NEXT CHATTER PROBLEM IS THE REPLACEMENT CLUTCH DISC THAT ARE NOW MADE DONT HAVE A WAVE WASHER INBETWEEN THE CLUTCH PADS LIKE THE ORIGINAL ONES THAT NOW FETCH 150 EUROS NEW...OUCH! THEY ARE JUNK.. ITS BETTER TO REBUILD YOUR ORIGINAL ONE. ALSO MOST ENGINES NOW MAKE A LOT OF POWER TWICE WHAT THEY WERE ORIGINALLY. AND THE SPRINGS IN THE PRESSURE PLATE NEED TO BE REPLACED WITH NEW AND STRONGER ONES THAN ORIGIANLLY EQUIPPED. WHEN ALL THREE ISSUES ARE DELT WITH ONLY THEN WILL YOU HAVE A BETTER SMOOTHER TAKE OFF. AND ONE LAST NOTE ---YOU MUST REPLACE THE CRANKSHAFT SEAL WITH A NEW WHITE ONE FROM ROBERT PROKSCHI SALES.. IF YOU DONT THE OLD HARD ONE WILL LEAK OIL ON YOUR BRAND NEW CLUTCH DISC AND GUESS WHAT HERE COMES THE CHATTER BACK AND ONCE THE DISC IS SATURATED WITH OIL ITS TRASH .. YOU CANNOT CLEAN A CLUTCH DISC OF OIL ... ITS IMPOSSIBLE -----YOU WILL RUIN THE PADS TRING TO GET OUT THE OIL. THE DISC IS VERY VERY PORIS MATERIAL. LIKE A SPONGE. AT 150 EUROS EACH (IF YOU CAN FIND ONE) WILL MAKE YOU CRY... TEARS TO BUY THE SECOND ONE... AND ONE LAST SEAL TO DEAL WITH THE TRANSMISSON SHAFT SEAL...YET YOU GUESSED IT ..GET ONE FROM ROBERT PROKSCHI AND STICK IT IN... FOR A NICE DRY CLUTCH DISC.. IF YOUR ENGINE MAKES OVER 50 HP YOU WILL NEED TO USE A BMW 700 PRESSURE PLATE ..MUCH BETTER PART THAN A PUCH PRESSURE PLATE. BUT VERY VERY EXPENSIVE .LEONARDO
