નમસ્તે સાથીઓ, આ વાર્તામાં ભગવાન બુદ્ધે પોતાના શિષ્ય આનંદ ને તરસ લાગતાં પાણી લેવા માટે મોકલ્યો તો આનંદ મલિન પાણી જોઈ પાણી લીધા વગર પાછો આવ્યો ત્યારે ભગવાન બુદ્ધે આનંદ ને થોડી વાર થોભી ગયા પછી પાણી લેવા જવા કહ્યું તો આનંદ થોડીવાર પછી પાણી લેવા ગયો તો પાણી સ્વચ્છ હતું.આનંદે ભગવાન બુદ્ધને સ્વચ્છ પાણી આપ્યું તો બુદ્ધે સ્વચ્છ પાણી પી પોતાની તૃષ્ણા છીપાવી ત્યારબાદ ભગવાન બુદ્ધે આ પાણી લેવા જવાની ઘટના પરથી આનંદે શું જીવમાં ઉતારવા લાયક સમજ મેળવી જે ભગવાન બુદ્ધ આનંદને સમજાવે છે જે એક આ વાર્તાની પ્રેરણાદાયી બાબત જીવનમાં ઉતારવા લાયક છે.
