My Tv Guide Collection 1987-2002 (01-15-23)

Описание: I started collecting t.v. guides in 1987 each week, until sometime in 2002 or soon after, but sometime in 2005 when t.v. guide changed their format into a magazine style, I did collect several of them for a decade or so, but not every week.

I did have every t.v. guide from each decade beginning in 1987, but after I moved multiple times, I had to eliminate a lot of them to save space and the hassle of moving so many plastic tubs filled with them. I believe I threw away most of the 1987 and 1988 t.v. guides, but kept a few which had cool interesting covers and stories. In this video, I do come across an issue from 1987, and 1988, but I remember having more than the two plastic tubs in the video. Most of them are from 1989,1990,1991,1992, ect. up through 2002. I could of sold them to a collector, instead of tossing them in the trash. And they were in good condition too.

Back in 1987, I remember being so addicted to t.v. and the weekly t.v. guide, and always going through page by page and looking for what shows and movies I was going to watch each day. When the Fall Preview issues came out each September, I remember going crazy over the issue, and having fun viewing everything the issue provided, and excited for all the new shows. It was like a bible to you for t.v. viewing. Without it, you became completely blind, not knowing what the hell is on. This was before Cable providers added their own t.v. guide chart through their service, usually on ch.3 (i.e. Charter Communications) .
