Splatoon 2: Supporting splats in Tigerfest_ Insurrection [17(10)-5, Classic Squiffer]

Описание: I'm trying the Squiffer again! After a previous battle in Ancho-V Games this Tigerfest, I am not surprised to see my Point Sensor highlight Egge hiding around the corner, but there's not much I can do about it. Keeping them hit with Point Sensors is a start, and as one inkling nearby gets splatted, I push forwards to put the pressure on. Or so I think. I'm just letting Egge splat me. Egge tries to put the boot in as we all return, showing off his Inkjetting skills. Luckily, I have a squidmate nearby to keep us safe, as I miss my shot and am about to be splatted again. My Point Sensor gets me that sweet assist too.

The Tower comes up to our corner, and we throw ink at it until it turns around, at which point I keep the Point Sensors flying, and eventually remember that I have Ink Armour ready. That encourages me to peek around the corner, where it looks like Egge has just finished a dodge roll. Good. I splat another inkling off the Tower, and try my best not to get splatted by a Sting Ray, but somewhat misjudge my recovery time.

The situation looks good for us continuing the push, so I head to the Tower, just in time for it to be lost, but itself just after we take the lead. Nice! I move up to keep the push going, missing all my shots but trundling the Tower in to a strong lead. Just imagine what I could have done if I'd got some splats! Our presence near the Tower is lost, so I take a defensive route back. I can ink turf and throw Point Sensors, which helps me splat squiddo as they are keen to retake the lead.

Recovering turf is a good idea, and a better idea is to move away from Egge as the sound of their Glooga Dualies gets louder. AceThunder stays closer, giving Egge little chance against both of us, and I just have to clean up what little mess they made before looking back at the Tower. I'm not having much luck getting splats, and wonder if maybe changing the angle will help. It does! My bold leap, however, helps the other Squiffer with their angles too. Still, it looked cool.

More assists come from my Point Sensors, which is something, even if nothing comes from my shots. At least I stay away from the Sting Ray just enough this time. Some Ink Armour helps me survive a Goo Tuber hit, after I get confused and try to splat a Point-sensored squidmate, and I do the sensible thing and back off a little. I get a nice splat on the Jet Squelcher, a little out of position, and just about keep an angle to splat the super-jumping squiddo. I have hopes of getting a third splat, and with another super-jumper maybe a fourth, but an Ink Mine, the Gloogas, and the landing Squiffer combine quite effectively to splat me instead.

We're in the last minute, and the blue team haven't seriously threatened our lead, which is encouraging. Unlike my aim, which is still just a little off. Still, my shots get the inklings' attention, which lets a squidmate flank them efficiently, and I push up to defend the Tower effectively. I even get a second splat, after throwing everything at the Tower. I go looking for the third again, but am well aware that it will be Egge, so take a shot and run away when it misses. I can't resist going back to aim at their Inkjet, which nearly gets me splatted for nothing. It's almost worth it, though, as the seconds tick down, and the Tower remains empty, earning us the victory. Woomy!
