Anfahrt: Ich fuhr vom südlichen Teil des Sees über Brenzone, Garda und Costermano auf der SP8 nach Prada (1050m) zum Fuße der Talstation der stillgelegten Seilbahn am Monte Baldo. Es gibt eine kürzere Anfahrt, aber ich wollte die kleine SP29 mit seinen engen Straßen und Kehren meiden. Ich parkte am Chalet Novezza, das ist 1,7 km an der Straße SP8 vorbei am Rifugio Novezzina. Dort befindet sich ein sehr großer Parkplatz.
Tour: Empfehlenswerte Wandertour in großartiger Vorgebirgslandschaft. Die Ausblicke rückseitig des Monte Baldos sind genau so schön wie später vom Gipfel auf den Gardasee und die hohen Berge im Norden, bei klarer Sicht unbeschreiblich schön. Die Tour vom Fuße der Seilbahn aus beginnt zunächst leicht. Ein Wegweiser zeigt den Beginn des Pfades an, der einen nur auf Trittspuren über die Almwiese stetig hinauf führt. Einige Markierungen sind zu finden, ansonsten muss man selbst darauf achten, die Pfadspuren nicht zu verlieren. Man gewinnt zügig an Höhe und im weiteren Verlauf wird die Tour aber anspruchsvoller, viele steinige und verwurzelte Kletterabschnitte sind zu bewältigen, hier muss man schwindelfrei und trittsicher sein. Auf dem Rückweg wählte ich den einfacheren Zick-Zack-Weg, den man beim Aufstieg von Weitem am Berg erkennt. Im unteren Teil dieser Abstiegsroute ist ein sehr schöner Rastplatz. Allerdings war zum Schluss dieser Weg nicht mehr gut markiert oder beschildert, ich bin das letzte Stück dann quer über die Wiesen in Richtung Straße gegangen. Wer sich die Klettereien aufwärts sparen möchte, kann den einfachen und gut begehbaren Zick-Zack-Weg vom Rifugio Novezzina für Auf- und Abstieg nutzen. Am Chalet Novezza kann man sich dann nach geschaffter Tour 'belohnen', oder man geht/fährt weiter zum Rifugio Novezzina.
Fazit: Unbedingte Empfehlung, wer Bergwandern mag und über Ausdauer verfügt - fantastische Aussichten am Gipfel belohnen für die Mühen :)

How to get there: I went from the southern part of the lake via Brenzone, Garda and Costermano on the SP8 to Prada (1050m) to the foot of the valley station of the disused cable car at Monte Baldo. There is a shorter approach, but I wanted to avoid the small SP29 with its narrow streets and hairpin bends. I parked at Chalet Novezza, which is 1.7 km along the SP8 road past Rifugio Novezzina. There is a very large parking lot.
Tour: Recommended hiking tour in a great foothill landscape. The views to the back of Monte Baldo are as beautiful as later from the summit to Lake Garda and the high mountains in the north, with clear visibility indescribably beautiful. The tour from the foot of the cable car starts easily at first. A signpost indicates the beginning of the path, which only leads one on footprints over the alpine meadow steadily up. Some markings are to be found, otherwise one must pay attention not to lose the path tracks. One gains height quickly and in the further course the tour becomes more demanding, many stony and rooted climbing sections are to be mastered, here one must be free of vertigo and sure-footed. On the way back, I chose the easier zigzag path, which can be seen from a distance when climbing up the mountain. In the lower part of this descent route there is a very nice resting place. But at the end this path was no longer well marked or signposted, I walked the last part across the meadows towards the road. If you don't want to climb uphill, you can use the easy and easy zigzag path from Rifugio Novezzina for ascent and descent. At the Chalet Novezza, one can 'reward' oneself after having done the tour, or one goes/continues to the Rifugio Novezzina.
Conclusion: absolute recommendation for those who like mountain hiking and have stamina - fantastic views from the summit reward you for your efforts :)
