Today, I assess the common claim, that people believe in God or Heaven only to appease their desires.
As a Christian, I asked myself this Question....why Do I believe in God? Does my Faith and Hope truly come from the desire to comfort myself in the face of life's grimmest realities? Does the True Christian actually live to fulfill His or Her own desires?
Or...do Both Scripture and the True Believer have something else to say about that?
