1. Position the patient’s head to properly align the airway for optimal visualization.

3. Gently open the mouth and insert the laryngoscope, lifting the tongue to expose the vocal cords.
4. Visualize the glottic opening and guide the endotracheal tube smoothly through the vocal cords.
5. Advance the tube to the correct depth and inflate the cuff to secure the airway.
6. Confirm tube placement by observing chest rise, auscultating breath sounds, and verifying with capnography.
7. Secure the tube to maintain a stable and protected airway throughout the procedure
