Brossard murder-suicide considered Quebec’s 6th femicide this year

Police have confirmed it was the result of a femicide followed by a suicide. And while investigators remain tight-lipped, court records show the man involved had a history of alleged violence and threats.

Advocates against intimate partner violence say the case raises serious concerns as Quebec sees its sixth femicide since the start of the year.
