Their winning entries featured two standout projects:
✔ Multi-storey car park pigeon proofing – Carl and Craig installed 250 metres of Defender® Wide Stainless Steel Bird Spikes to combat a long-standing pigeon problem. After a full biocide clean to remove hazardous guano, they securely fixed spikes across I-beams and ducting with Defender® Fixing Silicone, protecting vehicles and walkways from damage and mess.

✔ Southwold rooftop gull control – Following the removal of an old gull nest, Craig fitted a wire frame with Defender® Thistle Spikes to maintain water flow in a gully. Every ridge was protected with Defender® Ridge Spikes, the chimney proofed with Thistles, and the Dorma roof cleaned and re-checked. An innovative, professional install that looks as good as it performs.
