In Season 2 Episode 5, Frieren and the party continue their journey north. Along the way they stop in a bar town where Frieren is joyfully reunited with her old friend Fass, a dwarf known for his passion for drinking and his obsessive search over two centuries for the legendary Emperor’s alcohol “Boshaft” hidden at the end of a mine he himself dug. The episode also reveals that Frieren has a massive debt hanging over her with the Norm Trading Company stemming from events 80 years ago, adding a layer of both humor and unexpected consequence to her long life.
