Zimbabwe minister says they are not planning to hold a referendum because it is not required. He also said they are seeking a third term for Mnangagwa.

Ziyambi has not said why the changes are requirede and who demanded the changes. Ziyambi says the reason for removing direct Presidential elections is to remove toxicity, violence and disputed elections.

However, he does not mention that in Zimbabwe, there was a referendum wheer people were asked to choose the type of system they wanted to use and in 2013, Zimbabweans chose the directly elected President.
