Dr. Satapathy is triple board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine having trained in Internal Medicine from New York Medical College, Gastroenterology from North Shore-LIJ Hospital, and Transplant Hepatology from Mount Sinai Hospital. He also completed his MD in Internal Medicine from VSS Medical College, Burla, and a DM in Gastroenterology from GB Pant Hospital, New Delhi before his training in the USA.

Recognized for his outstanding contributions, Dr. Satapathy was named a finalist for the Truly Rising Star Award sponsored by Northwell Health in 2021, and a finalist for the current year 2024 in the Truly Mentorship Award section.
