Key discussions reportedly included the appointment of the new Uttar Pradesh BJP president and preparations for the 2027 assembly elections. PM Modi's scheduled visit to Varanasi in August also featured in the talks. On Sunday, Yogi is set to participate in religious festivities in Meerut, including showering flower petals on Kawadias — a move seen as outreach to Hindu voters, sources said.
