Incredibly good preamp. We often plug stuff into our tube amps (bass included!) for our favorite tones. But this really works wonders even direct: the drive is just very good, even if never reaching high gain. It's less about that, and more about a solid basis for your other effects to go before. And that it does in spades. Worthy of our fluffy seal of approval!
