The video you are about to see is our second round of treatment for all of the four farms that we have been treating with mites infestation.
By this time we have already disrupted the life cycle of the mites and you can see already significant improvements on the animals affected areas.
I refer back to a few of those animals that were severely infested to show you the before and after treatment after just a couple of medications.
Medicines used and equipment used:
Ivermectin
Doramectin
Sulfur Cream
Paint sprays for identification
Syringes and needles
DisposableNitrile gloves
For your reference here is the mites` life cycle:
Eggs-Larva-Nymph-Adult male and female
Eggs laid in the stratum corner part of the skin
Eggs hatches in 2-3 days
Larval stage up to 4 days
Nymphal stage lasts for 4-7 days
Adults live for 1-2 months and reproduce during this period
Entire life cycle is spent on the hosts
