This vlog captures the day after the Polar Vortex when temperatures dropped further to −21°C in Waterloo, Ontario on 25th January 2026. Filmed from a 16th-floor balcony, this video shows a city still completely frozen under extreme cold conditions.
Even though the Polar Vortex has passed, the aftermath is still severe. Roads remain unsalted, snow covers the entire city, and cars struggle to move on icy streets. From above, the city looks quiet, white, and frozen in time.
