We worked very closely with the homeowner in choosing timber style, species and stain. For the interior they chose a kiln dried douglas fir with a custom Pecan finish with two coats of polyurethane for protection. The exterior is Cypress with a special clear finish for improved durability against the elements.
The use of Structurally Insulated Panel (SIPs) for the exterior walls and roof make for an easy installation and provide a lifetime of energy savings.
The owner was their own General Contractor on this project and it was a pleasure to work with them.
